I'd love to get a web site up, running, and fantastic. Patience needed - I have absolutely no experience whatsoever. Lots of ideas though.

The plan is to cover basic Dreamweaver, HTML, and NCSU WWW protocols this coming Monday evening (March 30, 2006) at 5PM. Lets meet in Brooks 316 and then we'll go down to the main MAC lab in the IT lab—I have it reserved.
If you have not activated your WWW folder or don't know what that is, go HERE and get it set up.
A special invitation goes out to all GRAPHIC DESIGN FRESHMEN.

oh, oh, me lauren! me me me! i wanna figure out some diy type blog crap, where i don't have to use moveable type or blogger, but it works in a similar way, and i have lots of control over how it's all laid out. i may be able to show you something in indesign or whatever in return.

lauren, I'm totally thinking dynamic now. I have some ideas and would love to talk to you about the possibilities and maybe some guidance in where to investigate further... tyler talks about trade for information, if I know something that you need help with my time is yours.. . in the case that that isn't the case.. . how about some flowers in return for your guidance? flowers are inspiringly pretty.

lauren, heck yeah i want to learn some db stuff. or heck some PERL would be swell. please email if there is to be some sort of group tutorial.
generally, i can offer help with [in non-thesis hours]:
~ flash, actionscript and flash program design
~ audio recording, editing, mixing
~ drinking, swearing, and shooting pool badly

the idea of combining database design with unruly drinking sounds enormously fun!
+ i've sat with tyler + britt and it seems the best way to get together productively is for a person to have a loose sketch of what it is they are trying to do and we can talk about what happens behind the scenes to make that happen visually.
